It was to the point that I couldn’t lift my heavy reversible mattress enough to get the sheets under the mattress. I tried those spring plates that go under the mattress, but they didn’t work well at all. These sheets fit under the mattress so well. The sheets are soft and so well made. They look good to start with. The sheets are generously cut so there is no yanking and extreme pulling trying to get these to fit in mattress.The pillowcase are also supersoft .
After four washes they seem to be holding up very well with no sign of wear.
